MU Extension and Engagement & 4-H

Since 1914, University of Missouri Extension has brought practical knowledge from the university to Missourians. The way we work has changed over the years, but our dedication to fulfilling the land-grant mission has not. Our goal is simple - to improve lives, communities and business by providing practical programming. Through a network of county offices in all 114 counties and the City of St. Louis, we work every day to help communities solve Missouri's grand challenges around economic opportunity, educational access and health and well-being. 4-H, America's largest youth development organization, is part of University of Missouri Extension and welcomes all Missouri youth.

Footage that does not depict current safety practices was taken prior to COVID-19 health orders and guidelines.

Excellence in Extension

The Extension in Excellence Fund is used to meet the grand challenges Missourians have asked MU Extension & Engagement to help solve. Through the fund, we are fulfilling our land-grant obligation as we address economic opportunity, educational access and excellence, and health and well-being for the benefit of all Missourians.
