Previously known as the Office of Service-Learning, the Office of Community Engaged Learning supports academically based community outreach campus-wide, serving as a consulting center for program design and implementation.
The Civic Leaders Internship Program (CLIP), a signature program of the Office of Community Engaged Learning, offers Mizzou undergraduates a unique, personalized opportunity to serve their community through internships in publicly funded offices and nonprofit organizations.
However, financial barriers often prevent students from taking advantage of these valuable experiences. With state government internships being unpaid, students face significant costs — including lost wages, fuel, professional attire and meals — averaging $5,280 per semester. Your generous gift will go directly to these student interns, helping to offset their financial burdens and ensure that all students, regardless of their financial situation, can participate and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
