One goal of the MU Honors College is to provide high-impact, hands-on learning opportunities for Mizzou’s high-achieving, inquisitive students from all degrees and disciplines across campus.
Experiential learning can happen in many ways, in both course- and non-course-based opportunities. Students can pursue learning through attending events, community service, service-learning, undergraduate research, conferences, or study abroad/away as a few examples. Each effort helps students deepen their understanding of classroom teaching and cultivate skills that can be applied in everyday life.
These unique learning situations are life-changing opportunities for students. However, some students face financial barriers that can prevent them from participating. By donating to the Honors College Experiential Learning fund, your contribution will help every student pursue these valuable educational pathways, regardless of their financial means.
