The Division of Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (IDE) actively fosters a living, learning, and working community where everyone is valued and inspired to reach their full potential. We support organizations, projects, speakers, performances, and other activities that make our campus a welcoming space for all. As diversity and inclusion are essential components of institutional excellence, we seek to continually enhance those values across Mizzou. We strive to uphold the university's values and our Principles of Community by following the Inclusive Excellence Framework.
Inclusive Excellence Fund
Creating inclusive educational spaces and improving cultural competencies are important components of our efforts to support diverse students, faculty, and staff at Mizzou. Your gift will go towards programming, and Inclusive Excellence Grants, ensuring that the university is a supportive and welcoming climate for individuals from all backgrounds.
Student Retention & Engagement Fund
Scholarships and service to the community bolster the quality, ingenuity and impact of inclusion and diversity in the Mizzou student experience. IDE is able to attract and retain outstanding underrepresented students due to an array of initiatives. These, as well as other student-centered programs, support students both academically and with the transition to campus life, preparing them holistically for their careers after college.
Access & Opportunity Fund
Help us make Mizzou’s campus more accessible for students, faculty, staff and visitors with disabilities. Gifts allow us to implement critical accessibility improvements on campus — including the replacement of aging elevators and accessibility updates to the Missouri Theatre — and our annual celebration of disability on campus: Disability Culture Week. This fund will assist with efforts to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of campus life.
