MU Extension and Engagement & 4-H
Every day, the faculty and staff at University of Missouri Extension and Engagement serve Missouri and deliver Mizzou by connecting university research, knowledge and resources with practical programming that empowers people to improve lives, communities and businesses.
Through a network of county offices in all 114 counties and the City of St. Louis, we partner across the state to solve Missouri's grand challenges around economic opportunity, educational access and health and well-being. 4-H, America's largest youth development organization, is part of MU Extension and welcomes all Missouri youth.
The way we work has changed over the decades but our commitment to our land-grant mission is stronger than ever.
Excellence in Extension
The Extension in Excellence Fund helps us develop the programming, partnerships and resources to empower Missourians. The fund helps us fulfill our land-grant mission to Serve Missouri and Deliver Mizzou as we work with local and state partners to improve economic opportunity, educational access and excellence, and health and well-being across our state.
Missouri 4-H Foundation Scholarship Fund
A key goal of the 4-H program is to connect youth to higher education. A gift to the Missouri 4-H Foundation Scholarship Fund is an investment in the future of today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders. Scholarships help bridge the gap between tuition costs and what families can pay out of pocket. Your gift helps Missouri 4-H members pursue their educational goals.
Osher@Mizzou
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Missouri (Osher@Mizzou) has evolved over the years, beginning in 2002 with just a few courses to what we are today: a welcoming place where those aged 50 and above can take non-credit courses on a myriad of topics in current events, U.S. and world history, literature, the arts, and more. Osher is a place where you can meet old friends and make new ones while keeping your brain active. Your gift will help ensure that Osher@Mizzou continues to have a positive impact on hundreds of seniors and their families living in mid-Missouri.
